This notice explains how OrenGen Worldwide LLC ("OrenGen") handles information in the WeShare partner portal. Our full Privacy Policy is at https://orengen.io/legal/privacy-policy/ and controls if anything here differs.
Who this covers
WeShare is open only to partners in the United States. We do not offer the program to people in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
What we collect
- Your application details: name, email, phone, address, and optional company and website.
- Account and security data: your username, sign-in records and the IP address used at sign-up.
- Referral tracking data: when someone clicks your referral link, the portal records the click and the visitor's IP address so sales can be credited to you.
- Payout and tax data: when your first payout is due, your U.S. Stripe Connect account (set up through Stripe) and your IRS Form W-9.
- Program records: referrals, commissions, approvals, adjustments and payouts.
Cookies
- Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in to the portal. It ends when you sign out or close your browser.
- Referral cookie: set when someone clicks a partner referral link, so a later purchase can be credited to that partner. It lasts 1 year.
- reCAPTCHA: our sign-up form uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam and fake accounts. Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms) apply to it.
We do not use advertising cookies in the partner portal.
How we use your information
To run the WeShare program, credit sales, pay commissions, prevent fraud and duplicate accounts, meet tax reporting obligations (for example, IRS Form 1099 where the law requires) and comply with the law.
Who we share it with
Stripe, to process your payouts; Google, for reCAPTCHA on the sign-up form; the IRS and other authorities where the law requires; and service providers that help us run the program, under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
For as long as you take part in the program, and afterward as long as tax, accounting and legal record-keeping rules require.
